St. Anthony-New Brighton families,

If you have a student that rides bus 7, starting tomorrow, Sept. 16, there will be a bus route available both to and from school.

We are aware of the immense inconvenience our families have been experiencing with inconsistent transportation due to bus driver shortages. We continue to work with our bus company, Metropolitan Transportation Network, to create a solution for the remainder of the school year.

As mentioned in our message sent on Sept. 7, we let you know that our district will experience interruptions to bus routes. We wanted to prepare families that we could experience late or canceled bus routes. Unfortunately, this was the case with a few of our routes where a bus wasn’t available to transport our students to and from school.

Please know that we are doing everything we can to rectify this situation for our students and our families. The Transportation issue will be a discussion item at the Sept. 21 School Board Work Session.

We will be following up with additional information and next steps following the Work Session.

If you are experiencing a transportation problem, please contact 612-706-1117 or send an email to transportation@isd282.org

Sincerely,

Dr. Renee Corneille, Superintendent
Maria Roberts, Wilshire Park Principal
Amy Kujawski, St. Anthony Middle School Principal
Andrew Hodges, St. Anthony Village High School Principal
