wear a mask

St. Anthony-New Brighton families,

We have noticed an increase in situations where students are not wearing a mask while riding the bus and entering our school buildings.

Important reminders:

  1. There is a federal mandate to wear a mask on all public transportation. Masks are required while riding busses to/from school and for athletics and activities.

  2. St. Anthony-New Brighton (SANB) has a district-wide mask requirement for anyone entering our buildings.

Our schools have been providing a disposable mask for students that do not have one. Due to the high number of students who are requesting a disposable mask on a daily basis, this has become a costly and unsustainable expense for the district.

Going forward, we will provide cloth masks that have been donated by community members and from Hennepin County Public Health.

  • Please continue to remind your students to wear a mask while riding the bus and when entering our schools.

  • If your student is given a cloth mask from their school, make sure they continue to wear it and clean it, as needed.
